Engine 8
Engine 8 is also a reserve pumper. It is used at most special events and training sessions. Engine 8 will also respond to large incidents or first due durring multiple incidents. Engine 8 is a 1970 American La France 900 Series. It carries 500 Gallons of water and pumps at a rate of 1000 Gallons Per Minute and carries 1000 feet of 4" Supply Hose. The cab has seating for four firefighters with open jump seats. This apparatus carries an assortment firefighting equipment (Hand Tools, Saws, Ladders, etc.) Engine 8 is staffed with volunteer firefighters who arrive at the station durring a call and its primary responsibilities at an incident include Water Supply or Manpower/Equipment.
