Engine 6
Engine 6 is our reserve pumper. It responds to most fire calls but also acts a replacement when Squad 1 or Engine 4 are out of service. Engine 6 may also responds first on "back to back" calls. Engine 6 is a 1983 American La France Centry. It carries 1000 Gallons of water and pumps at a rate of 1250 Gallons Per Minute and carries 1000 feet of 4" Supply Hose. The cab has seating for four firefighters with open jump seats. This apparatus carries an assortment of equipment including Basic EMS equipment (O2, Splints, Defibulater, Jump Kit) and regular firefighting equipment (Hand Tools, Saws, Ladders, etc.) Engine 6 is staffed with volunteer firefighters who arrive at the station durring a call and its primary responsibilities include Water Supply or Manpower/Equipment.
