Engine 4

Engine 4 is our newest pumper. It responds second due on all fire calls and motor vehicle accidents. Engine 4 also responds first to all "back to back" calls. Engine 4 is a 2001 Pierce Enforcer. It carries 1000 Gallons of water and pumps at a rate of 1500 Gallons Per Minute and carries 1000 feet of 4" Supply Hose & 1000 feet of 5" Supply Hose. The cab has seating for six firefighters. This apparatus carries a large assortment of equipment including Basic EMS equipment (O2, Splints, Defibulater, Jump Kit), a set of back-up extrication equipment (Combination Hydraulic Cutters/Spreaders), Air Bags, Toxic Gas Meter, Hazardous Materials Equipment and regular firefighting equipment (Hand Tools, Saws, Ladders, etc.) Engine 4 is staffed with volunteer firefighters who arrive at the station durring a call and its primary responsibilities include Water Supply or Manpower/Equipment. Engine 4 responds automatic to the Beach Fire District for Building Fires and also responds to all Out of Town requests for service.
